Content Support

The business affairs unit has recently restructured as part of S4C's overall restructuring programme and sits now as part of the new S4C Content Support team.

Here is an overview of the key roles and responsibilities of the new S4C Content Support team, in order to make the process of discussing productions easier for the supplier:

  • Angharad Thomas will be responsible for the management of the contents budget as a whole, working closely with Amanda Rees and the Creative Team (commissioning), planning future spend.
  • Iestyn Morris has been appointed the Head of Legal and Business department overviewing the Legal and Business Affairs departments.
  • The new business affairs team will be responsible for discussing operational, financial and legal aspects once interest has been shown in an idea by the creative team and the idea is presented to S4C via "Cwmwl".
  • Rhys Bevan has been appointed Content Operations Manager, responsible for discussing budgets and production related queries with the production companies as required. He will also be responsible for managing the business affairs team and co-ordinating the editorial brief and contracts. The main point of contact on a day to day basis will be via the business affairs officers and they will each be responsible for specific genres (see below). The team will continue to verify PAC information ensuring that essential information is received.
  • The legal team will be responsible for any unusual commissioning agreements, rights contracts and matters relating to compliance.
  • Once the production has been contracted, the Finance team will process payments and ensure budgets are closed punctually. All enquries relating to payments should be sent to taliadau@s4c.cymru
