Six nations inspired steak sandwich
Ingredients
- Aberdeen Angus steak
- mushrooms
- red onions
- bread panini
- chilli flex
- per las cheese
- lettuce
- watercress
For the dressing
- 2 tbsp mayo
- tabasco
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lea and perrin
Method
- Cut the panini bread and pour some olive oil on it, add a touch of salt and pepper and chilli flakes if you like a spice.
- Season the steak with oil, salt and pepper.
- Remove the mushroom "stalks" then place on the grill.
- Slice the onions into 1cm pieces, place on the grill.
- While everything is cooking, make a sauce / dressing for the sandwich.
- To layer the sandwich, spread sauce on the bread, add lettuce and watercress.
- Add the dressing, onions and mushrooms.
- Remove the steak from the grill and keep for a while. Cut the steak and add to the sandwich. Add salt and pepper, then pieces of cheese per blue.
- Cover with bread then enjoy!
