Okonomiyaki

Ingredients

  • white cabbage
  • salt
  • onion granules
  • garlic granules
  • 3 heaped tablespoons plain flour
  • water
  • 1 egg

For the toppings:

  • smoked salmon
  • fish flakes
  • siracha
  • Japanese mayonnaise
  • spring onions
  • avocado

Method

  1. Grate the white cabbage in a bowl with onion and garlic granules and salt.
  2. Add flour and water into a bowl until it makes a thick batter mix.
  3. Then add this to the cabbage with the egg.
  4. Cook like a pancake in a frying pan about 2 minutes each side.
  5. Place onto a chopping board or large plate and add the toppings.
