Welsh cakes

Ingredients

  • 225g raising flour
  • 100g Welsh butter
  • 50 sugar
  • 75g chocolate
  • skin 1 orange
  • 1 egg

Method

  1. Put the flour in a bowl and crush the butter.
  2. Then add the sugar, chocolate and orange.
  3. Beat the egg and add and form into dough, roll and cut into circles.
  4. Cook on the griddle until cooked and a nice golden colour on both sides, sprinkle with melted chocolate.
