1. These rules apply to a competition published as part of the 'Heno' and 'Prynhawn Da' programmes.
2. There are 2 competitions:
i. A photography competition open to children and young people under 16 years of age.
ii. A photography competition open to adults over 16 years of age.
The competitions are open to all residents of the United Kingdom, with the exception of individuals employed by Tinopolis, or S4C, their immediate family and other companies that have a direct link with this competition.
3. An I-pad will be offered as prizes for the winner of both categories of the competition - as outlined in the second clause of the Terms and Conditions.
4. To compete in the 2 competitions, you must send the competing photograph with a name, and state which age category you will be competing to lluniau@tinopolis.com
5. The 2 competitions will open on the 5th of August 2024 and close at midday on the 31st of August 2024.
6. Any entries made after the closing date and time will not be entered into the competition.
7. There will be no need to buy anything to compete.
8. You can compete as often as you like but there is only one prize to be won in relation to each competition.
9. The official judge of the competition, the professional photographer Betsan Haf Evans, will receive an electronic copy of each picture in the competition, and will choose the 2 winners for the competitions - as outlined in the second clause of the Terms and Conditions. The decision of Betsan Haf Evans and Tinopolis regarding the winners will be final and no correspondence will be answered.
10. The winners will be announced on the Heno program by judge Betsan Haf Evans, and this will happen within 10 days of the closing date. A member of Tinopolis staff will contact the winners directly and they will arrange for them to receive their prizes.
11. By competing in the competition, candidates:
i. confirm that all the information they provide is correct and that they meet all the eligibility criteria for the competition;
ii. agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions;
iii. agree that if they win the competition, S4C can use their name and picture for promotional purposes.
12. Tinopolis and S4C reserve the right to request written proof of the age of any winner and to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe that the entrant has broken any of these rules.
13. All applications must be submitted by means of the application method specified in promotional material and messages regarding the competition. No applications submitted by any other method will be accepted.
14. All applicants will be responsible for all taxes, insurance, travel arrangements, spending money and other costs and expenses (including meals or personal expenses) unless specifically stated otherwise.
15. The prize cannot be transferred.
16. Neither Tinopolis nor S4C will be responsible for any error, defect, disruption, deletion, or delay in any method of communication used by applicants, or for applications that do not arrive before the closing date and time.
17. The prize will be delivered by post to the winner via the contact details provided after the winner has been notified. Proof of posting/delivery from Tinopolis will equate to proof of arrival.
18. Tinopolis and/or S4C reserve the right to amend these rules or to cancel, modify or amend the competition at any time as a result of events beyond their control.
19. Tinopolis and S4C exclude any liability to the fullest extent permitted by law for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered by any applicant, arising from the fact that he, or she she, has competed in this competition, or which happens to the winner as a result of the fact that they have received the prize.
20. Tinopolis and S4C will not transfer your personal information to any other third party or use candidates' personal details for any purpose other than administering this competition. Your personal data will be processed and stored in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR.
21. We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time.
22. This competition is bound by the laws of England and Wales.
23. This competition is organized by, and the promoter is Tinopolis, Stryd y Park, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, SA15 3YE and any inquiries or complaints about this competition should be directed to the S4C Viewers Hotline, 0870 600 4141 (there will be no calls n costing more than the cost of a call at the national rate to an 01 or 02 number).
