Sioned transformed a small garden in Grangetown by creating a play area for the children.
The first job for Sioned was to clear the area and use some sand on the floor instead of the gravel. She painted the concrete slabs with masonry paint to create a hopscotch for the girls. Make sure you cover the slabs with a concrete sealer to finish them off.
You can also use this masonry paint to add colour to any walls in the garden. Sioned masked stripes to brighten up the dark corner in Rhiannon and Huw's garden.
After the slabs had been laid down, Sioned used slate gravel to surround them.
Pots and plants are also a great way to add some more colour to your garden. How about using old vintage tins dotted on the windowsills?
As a special treat for the girls, Sioned also created a lovely kitchen play area from an old wooden pallet. Check out our Pinterest board for some more ideas on how to create your own. (A video showing how the play kitchen was made will be posted on our Facebook page this week)
These colourful chairs for Melangell and Morfudd to sit on finish the play corner off nicely!
