S4C Project Co-ordinator

S4C has an exciting unique opportunity for a Project Co-ordinator with an immediate start on a fixed term contract through to December 2025.

In this important role you will be working with multiple senior stakeholders within S4C and externally (from Media Cymru) to co-ordinate a mission critical project to the business. We will be asking the fundamental question that all TV broadcasters are grappling with - how will our audiences find and watch our content in the future.

Your main duties will include liaising with multiple stakeholders both internal and external co-ordinating to ensure the project is kept on track and all information disseminated in a timely and professional manner. Duties include, administering and reporting on the project on a day-to-day basis, co-ordinating meetings and keeping accurate and up-to-date accounts and records of grant receipt and expenditure. Tracking the flow of information and research is critical and being able to synthesise information into presentations is desirable alongside a track record of having worked on large projects.

The ability to communicate correctly to a good standard verbally and in writing in Welsh is desirable for this role.

Further Details

Location: The usual location of your work will be S4C, Central Square, Cardiff. You are expected to travel to wherever S4C reasonably orders from time to time.

Salary: £35,000-£38,000 per annum pro rata

Contract: 15 – 18 months fixed term contract for period of project.

Working Hours: 4 days a week (29 hours a week). Due to the nature of the position, flexibility is expected, including working outside office hours, some weekends and bank holidays.

Probation Period: 6 months

Holidays: In addition to the statutory bank holidays, you will be entitled to 26 days of paid holiday per year. (Please note that the annual leave will be pro rata if working part time).

Pension: Paid staff are entitled to join a Group Personal Pension Scheme subject to the terms of any existing scheme which is amended from time to time. If you are a member of the Group Personal Pension Scheme, S4C will contribute 10% of your basic salary to the Scheme. You will be expected to contribute 5%.
