The Boomerang Group has won in open competition the contract to deliver the presentation element of S4C’s children’s service.
The contract comes into force in June, with the new look presentation broadcast for the first time at the end of October.
Designing and maintaining a website is also part of the two-year contract.
Boomerang has a strong tradition in the field of children’s programming and has won dozens of awards, including Bafta prizes.
Rhian Gibson, S4C’s Director of Commissioning said: “Providing the best possible service for children is one of S4C’s key aims, and this contract, won by Boomerang as part of an open tender process, denotes the latest exciting step in our commitment to the genre.”
S4C will shortly be publishing further details regarding the contract.

Note to Editor:
Please note, this tender process did not include launching or managing a Welsh language channel for children. S4C has announced its aim to establish a separate children’s channel; the S4C Authority will shortly be holding a public consultation into the proposed channel.
