Children’s presenters Gareth Delve and Rachael Solomon will be leaving the comfort of the studio for a special week of programmes as they hop aboard the Planed Plant Bach bus to visit primary schools in north east Wales.
Between the 21-25 January, the team from S4C’s flagship pre-school children’s programming will be visiting five different schools, with Gareth and Rachael inviting pupils from these schools on board the bus for games and activities.
Once there, the children will also be able to meet Cyw, Planed Plant Bach’s puppet mascot. Items will be filmed from the bus for broadcast on S4C during half term week, 11-15 February.
Rachael, originally from the St Asaph area but now living in Llandaff, Cardiff, will be heading home to her roots and visiting her old primary school, Ysgol Gynradd Dewi Sant during the week.
Rachael says, “I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone at my old school and it’s great that we’ll be able to film items in the area.”
Planed Plant Bach producer Helen Davies says, “This is a wonderful opportunity for us to take the presenters out and about to meet younger viewers face-to-face.”
