On behalf of S4C, Iona Jones said, "It was with great sadness that we learned of the news of Angharad Jones' death. Angharad made a major contribution to drama in Wales and was an inspirational colleague. During her time as Drama Commissioner at S4C, she commissioned a number of award-winning productions, including drama series Con Passionate; Fondue, Rhyw a Deinasors; Talcen Caled and Caerdydd and films such as Eldra and Gwyfyn. She will be greatly missed, and we extend our deepest sympathy to her family and friends."
