S4C will broadcast extensive musical highlights of a special concert from St David’s Hall, Cardiff, to raise money for the Haiti appeal following last month’s earthquake.
The concert, presented by Angharad Mair and organised by Christian Aid, will be televised on Sunday 21 February at 20:30.
A line-up boasting some of Wales’ most prominent musical stars, including Rhydian Roberts, Dennis O’Neill and Wynne Evans will perform. Also performing during the concert will be Elin Fflur, Mal Pope and Gwydion Rhys Griffiths, winner of the Richard Burton Award at the National Eisteddfod. Ruth Jones, author and star of Ar y Tracs and Gavin & Stacey, will also make a presentation.
Details of how to contribute to the Haiti appeal will be broadcast during the concert.
Later that evening, S4C will also broadcast an episode of current affairs series, Y Byd ar Bedwar, broadcast earlier this year and reporting from Haiti, at 22:20.
