S4C has appointed Elin Morris as the Channel’s Director of Corporate and Commercial Policy.

Elin, who takes up her new role in March, will report to Chief Executive Iona Jones and will join S4C’s Board of Directors.

Elin is currently a partner in the Corporate Department at law firm, Geldards. She has worked for Geldards for 20 years, since graduating in Law from St Anne’s College, Oxford.

Iona Jones, S4C’s Chief Executive said: “The appointment of an individual of Elin’s ability and experience is a major boost to S4C and is sure to have a positive effect on our public and commercial activities.”

Elin Morris said: “It’s an exciting period for both S4C and the broadcasting industry and I’m looking forward very much to this new challenge.”
