S4C is to broadcast live to an international audience from this year’s Royal Welsh Agricultural Show.
Live broadcasts will be available on the web at s4c.co.uk/sioe throughout the UK, Ireland, Germany, Australia, New Zeland, the Netherlands, Sweden and Denmark during the week.
S4C will also broadcast over 50 hours of television programmes, including coverage every morning and afternoon from the Show, an hour-long highlights programme each evening and programmes from both the main ring and cattle ring on S4C2.
Dai Jones, Nia Roberts, Nia Parry and Bethan Gwanas will head up S4C’s presentation team, with Wyn Gruffydd commentating on the events of the main ring and Edward Tudor Jones commentating on the activities of the cattle ring.

During the weeks following the Show, S4C will broadcast five special programmes looking at different aspects of the event’s activities. The series will include programmes about the Show Champions, the activities of the Young Farmers’ Clubs, the shearing competitions and a behind-the-scenes look at the event itself.
