At the end of a full and exciting week on the Showground field and onscreen, S4C has announced a new four-year contract with the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society Ltd.
As part of the contract, S4C will continue to provide extensive coverage of the Royal Welsh Show, as well as the Winter Fair and Smallholder and Garden Festival.
S4C will publish a tender for the production of the broadcasts on 1 September at s4c.co.uk/production.

“Securing this new contract reflects the Channel’s role as the home of live events of Welsh interest. The contract also demonstrates our commitment to agriculture and rural affairs in Wales.”
David Walters, Chief Executive, Royal Welsh Agricultural Society Ltd, said, “We are delighted to continue our long association with S4C which has lasted since its inception and we look forward to working with the channel into the future. S4C provides extensive coverage of Royal Welsh events and this is appreciated by the Society and by viewers throughout Wales and beyond.”
