S4C are giving viewers a chance to enjoy the epic drama series Pen Talar again online. The entire series will be available to watch on the on-demand service Clic for over a month.
The final episode was broadcast on S4C on Sunday 7 November. Programmes are usually available to watch on Clic for 35 days after the first broadcast. But following the drama’s success S4C have decided that Pen Talar will be an exeption to this rule, with all nine episodes available to watch for a further month – until 12 December.
Remember that the final episode will be repeated tonight at 22:00 (Thursday 11 November), with on-screen English subtitles.
Pen Talar follows characters from two families in west Wales from the early 1960s to the present day in a drama about passions and beliefs, friendship and belonging. Starring Richard Harrington, Ryland Teifi and Mali Harries in a stellar cast, it is a gripping portrayal of the life-long bond between Defi Lewis, his best friend Doug Green and his sister Siân Lewis.
The journey takes us from the rise of nationalism in the 1960s to the 1979 ‘No’ devolution vote, and from the 1984 Miners Strike to the 1997 ‘Yes’ Vote and the present day.
Pen Talar will be available to view on s4c.co.uk/clic until 12 December.
