S4C is offering another means of watching the Channel’s programmes with the launch of the S4C Clic app for iPad.
This builds on the provision already available for the iPhone and iPod touch which was launched in June 2011. The bilingual app, which is free to download, can be found in the Apple App Store at http://bit.ly/clics4c
The new app, which is launched today (Thursday 18 August), allows viewers to access the S4C live and on demand service, Clic, to view the Channel’s programmes on demand for up to 35 days after transmission. Clic is S4C’s most popular websites with over 80,000 visits each month.
S4C’s Director of Broadcast and Distribution, Arshad Rasul, says, “The response to the S4C Clic app for the iPhone and iPod touch has been fantastic since its launch in June. Releasing the new app for the iPad is the next step for S4C as we look to expand on the Channel’s provision of services for the latest technology.”
