S4C will be extending its service to rugby followers in the coming weeks with more games being shown live on-line.
The Amlin Cup game between Newport Gwent Dragons and Wasps will be shown live on the S4C website next Thursday, 17 January at 7.45pm and the game shown in full on S4C’s main channel later that night at 11.05pm.
On Wednesday 23 January the first of the College Rugby games of this year will be shown live on-line at 2.25pm. The game – between Morgannwg and Llandovery - will be shown in full on S4C’s main service at 11.10pm. On Wednesday 30 January the College Rugby tie between Gower and Neath Port Talbot will be live on the S4C website at 2.25pm and shown again in full on S4C at 11.10pm.

and you can follow all the excitement live on the S4C website. Welsh internationals, George North and Scott Williams, came to prominence through College Rugby.
Geraint Rowlands, S4C Head of Broadcasting and Commissioner for Sport, said: “Showing rugby live and exclusively on our website is a relatively new development and it’s an exciting step forward.
“College Rugby attracts a lot of followers and now there’s an additional platform for the talents of these young people who represent the colleges. Who knows, maybe some of them will be the international rugby stars of the years to come?”
