Newport will play for a place in the BlueSquare Premier play off final live on S4C when they take on Grimsby in the second leg of the semi-final (28 April).
Justin Edinburgh’s team will attempt to book their place in next week’s final where one team will win a place in the English football league. Newport is one of two teams from Wales hoping to gain promotion, with Wrexham challenging Kidderminster earlier on Sunday afternoon.
