An S4C programme has won a Bronze Torc on the first day of the 2013 Celtic Media Festival held in Swansea.
The series Jonathan: Pencampwriaeth Y Chwe Gwlad 2012 won the Entertainment category at an awards ceremony held on Wednesday afternoon, 24 April.
The series producer and director, Alun Jenkins of Avanti production company, said, "We're very proud to have won this award, and it's great to have won on the first day of the festival with it being held this year in Swansea."
The annual festival is held in Swansea from Wednesday to Friday, 24 to 26 April. The festival celebrates the unique languages and cultures of the Celtic nations on screen and in broadcasting, and the event's Bronze Torc awards honour the very best of film, television, radio and digital media.
Dafydd Rhys, S4C Director of Content, said, "Congratulations to the Jonathan series for its success at the Celtic Media Festival. The event is an international platform for excellence and the award recognises the quality of the production sector in Wales and the quality of programming on S4C."
