    Ten learners will be spend a week on a campsite in West Wales having intense Welsh lessons as part of S4C's series cariad@iaith:love4language.

Matt Johnson and Nia Parry will present the series throughout the week with nightly hour-long programmes. Viewers can meet the finalists in two preview programmes on Wednesday, 15 and Friday, 17 May at 8.25pm, before the series starts on Sunday, 19 May. The winner will be announced on the final night, Friday, 24 May and there will be a highlights programme on Saturday, 25 May.

S4C can today reveal the names of the ten Welsh learners taking part in cariad@iaith:love4language 2013:

Ryan Quick from Port Talbot; Sa'ipolu Uhi from Tonga who live in Cardiff; Cisa Borsey from Denbigh; Danielle Thomas from Wrexham who lives in Llangefni; Sarah Hattle from Lee-on-the-Solent in Hampshire; Alun Rhys Jones from Prestatyn; Tom Workman from Whitchurch, Cardiff; Liz Roberts from Neath who lives in Cardiff; Ludo Dieumegard from Brittany who lives in Henllan near Llandysul, and Gayle Lister from Reading who now lives in Pembroke.

The contestants come from all over Wales and beyond and all have their own reasons for wanting to learn the language.

At Manorafon camp, which nestles between Tresaith and Llangrannog, the cameras will follow the learners as they receive four hours of Welsh lessons every day from presenter and Welsh tutor Nia Parry, and experienced Welsh tutor, Ioan Talfryn.

The contestants will also take part in various other challenges, but they won't know what lies ahead until they reach the camp.

Nia Parry, originally from Anglesey but brought up in Llandrillo yn Rhos, Colwyn Bay is looking forward to the challenge again this year.

"They're a lovely group, and there's an interesting mix of characters. One's into music, another is a fatherly figure, there's a bubbly young girl…we're going to have a lot of fun!" says the presenter and mother of two who's been teaching Welsh for sixteen years.

"Some of them have more Welsh than others, and that's going to be a challenge for us as tutors, but it's each one's personal journey that is important to us."

This will be the sixth series of cariad@iaith:love4language which is produced by Fflic, as part of Boom Pictures Cymru.

Last year right celebs undertook the cariad@iaith challenge. Opera singer Wynne Evans, news presenter Lucy Owen and singer Lucie Jones were among the eight, but coming up trumps and crowned the winner of the series was Gareth 'Alfie' Thomas.
