Geraint Rowlands has decided to leave his role as S4C's Sports and Events Commissioner and Head of Broadcasting.
Geraint said he is leaving in order to follow new creative opportunities.
S4C's Director of Content, Dafydd Rhys has thanked Geraint for his contribution to the Channel's work over the past six years.
Dafydd Rhys said:
"I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Geraint greatly for all his work during the last six years. I'm sure I speak on behalf of everyone at S4C when I say that it has been a pleasure to work with him. We all wish him well for the future."
Geraint Rowlands said:
"The last few years have included happy, constructive and challenging periods and I have been very fortunate to have been able to work with so many creative, talented and industrious people. I'd like to thank the production teams for their support and their commitment. S4C has faced some very difficult challenges over the past three years, but with a period of stability now on the horizon under Ian Jones' leadership, I would like to wish him and the rest of S4C’s team all the best for the future."

• Sports commissioning duties will be undertaken temporarily by Factual Commissioner, Llion Iwan.
• Events commissioning duties will be undertaken temporarily by Director of Content, Dafydd Rhys.
