Lovers across Wales will be celebrating St Dwynwen’s Day, Wales’s patron saint of love on Saturday 25 January, and this year Visit Anglesey will be sponsoring the day on S4C.

The ruins of Saint Dwynwen’s Church lie on Llanddwyn Island, a magic spot off the west coast of Anglesey.

Visit Anglesey –the organisation responsible for promoting tourism to the island - also sponsored S4C’s series Arfordir Cymru: Môn (The Anglesey Coast) in December.

The series followed local presenter Bedwyr Rees as he travelled along the island’s coast in search of local place names, stories and colourful characters.
