Eight Stars Get Ready To Learn Welsh in a Week
13 May 2014
Cariad@Iaith:Love4Language is returning to S4C. This time it's a group of celebrities taking on the challenge of learning Welsh in a week – doing so in the beautiful surroundings of Nant Gwrtheyrn in the Llŷn Peninsula.
The 2014 series starts on S4C on Monday 16 June with Matt Johnson and Nia Parry bringing us all the latest news and gossip from the Nant every night – but we'll have to wait a little while yet before we find out which celebrities will be keeping them company.
The crew will be staying at Nant Gwrtheyrn, a Residential Welsh Language Course Centre in Llithfaen near Pwllheli for a week where they'll attend an intense Welsh lesson every day with Nia Parry and fellow tutor Ioan Talfryn, before taking part in all sorts of activities through the medium of Welsh.
A special programme introducing the celebrities will be broadcast on S4C on Saturday 14 June at 8.00pm, and then Cariad@Iaith:Love4Language will be on every night between Monday 16 June and Friday 20 June at 8.30pm and 9.25pm, with the final taking place on Saturday 21 June at 8.00pm. The series is produced by Fflic, who are part of Boom Pictures Cymru.
Sioned Wyn Roberts, Content Commissioner at S4C said:

We're certain that there will be plenty of fun down in the Nant with this crew as they set about learning Welsh and inspire other to have a go as well."
