Three nominations for Y Gwyll / Hinterland in international drama awards

The thrilling detective series Y Gwyll / Hinterland, and the marketing campaigns associated with the first series, has been nominated for three awards at the C21 Media International Drama Awards.
Among them is a nomination for S4C's communication and promotions team, who have been nominated for their work raising awareness of the first series of Y Gwyll leading up to the first ever broadcast on S4C in autumn 2013.
The nomination for 'Best consumer marketing campaign for a drama series' recognises the advertising campaigns and awareness raised on various media and news outlets as well as social media.
The series, which is produced by Fiction Factory in partnership with S4C, Tinopolis, S4C Co-production fund and All3Media International Ltd, has also been nominated for 'Best non-English drama series'.
The three nominations are:
• Best consumer marketing campaign for a drama series
• Best non-English language drama (series)
• Best trade marketing campaign for a drama series
The winners will be announced on Thursday 20 November.
