Due to circumstances beyond S4C’s control, Wales's last match of the World Rugby U20 Championship will not be broadcast live on the channel.
Contrary to expectations, the host broadcasters in Italy are not covering the Wales v Australia fifth place play-off match, and therefore a live signal is not available for broadcast on any channel.
We will however broadcast a highlights package of the game, including a reaction and look back at Wales's whole campaign in the competition, in our programme on Saturday night, 20 June, at 7.00pm.
The programme, which also includes live coverage of the final between England and New Zealand, will be available to watch online, on demand, on s4c.cymru for 7 days following the original broadcast.
S4C was committed to broadcasting every Wales game where live signal feed was made available by the host broadcaster, as well as live coverage of the semi-final and final round of the competition.
