JD Welsh Premier League and an Emirates FA Cup matches will form a double-header of live football on S4C on Saturday, 4 November.

S4C’s flagship football programme, Sgorio, will be at the Cyncoed Campus in Cardiff at 12.30 to bring live coverage of the JD Welsh Premier League match between Cardiff Met and Carmarthen Town, with the match kicking off at the re-arranged time of 12.45.

With only one win to their name after nine games, the Old Gold face a tough trip to the capital against the team who lie just a point behind leaders The New Saints in second place.

To follow, Sgorio’s attention will turn to the Emirates FA Cup First Round tie which will see Newport County welcome Walsall to Rodney Parade. Coverage begins at 5.00, with kick off at 5.15.

Michael Flynn’s side, who are currently sixth in League Two, will be hoping to pull off an upset as they host the Saddlers, of League One in an entertaining encounter in front of the S4C cameras.
