A chance to gauge the opinions of S4C viewers in Llanrwst
15 November 2019
The people of Llanrwst and the area will be given the chance to voice their opinions on S4C's television programmes and services at a public event next month.
The channel will be holding a Viewers 'Evening at the Glasdir Centre, Llanrwst, on Tuesday 3 December, where members of S4C's management team and staff will be there to listen to viewers' comments.
The evening will start at 7.00pm. Translation equipment will be available to anyone who needs it.
S4C's Chief Executive, Owen Evans, Director of Content, Amanda Rees, Interim Chair, Hugh Hesketh Evans, and the channel's content commissioners will be there to welcome viewers to the evening.
Hugh Hesketh Evans, Interim Chair of S4C, said: "S4C is a public broadcasting service so it is vital that we listen to the voice of the viewers.
"We look forward to welcoming the public to the Glasdir Centre for an open and honest discussion about the channel's programmes and services, and to listen to what they would like to see in the future."
With Llanrwst having hosted this year's National Eisteddfod, 2019 has been a memorable year for the town and S4C staff will seek to hear people's views on the channel's Eisteddfod coverage, as well as its other programmes.
There will also be an opportunity to discuss the online channel, Hansh, S4C's Clic on demand service, and the channel's social media platforms.
If you would like to attend the Viewers' Evening or for more information, call 01352 754212 or email nosongwylwyr@s4c.cymru. The event is free to attend.
