There will be an early Christmas present for subscribers to on demand service S4C Clic. As the season of Advent begins on 1 December, a new programme from S4C's archives will be released on the platform every day until Christmas Eve, 24 December.
Films, drama, comedy, children's programmes – the content has been carefully chosen to ensure that there will be something to please every member of the family.
During Advent, three classic films will be released on S4C Clic including Rhosyn a Rhith – a fun-filled film starring Dafydd Hywel as a cinema projectionist in an impoverished village in the Welsh valleys who loses his job but finds a very inventive way to raise money.
There will also be an opportunity to watch the powerful film Milwr Bychan set in Northern Ireland and Nel which tells the story of a girl who faces being forced out of her childhood home because her brother wants to sell the family farm.
There's plenty for younger viewers of S4C Clic too including Albi a Noa yn Achub yr Iwnifyrs – a musical film for all the family which follows the life of a seven-year-old boy called Noa. The film tells the story of an ordinary family over one magical winter as Noa's life is transformed. The importance of friendship and family and the everlasting power of imagination are at the heart of this film.
Also for younger viewers there are some old favourites including Siôn Blewyn Coch – an animation based on characters from Llyfr Mawr y Plant, which tells the tale of a clever little fox who tries to steal the farmer's turkey and the musical film Y Dyn Nath Ddwyn y Dolig.
There will also be some more recent favourites including a Deian and Loli Christmas special and Pluen Eira – a lovely film for all the family about a young boy called Frank and his friendship with a turkey called Aden.
There will be some comedy classics on offer including Licyris Olsorts and several familiar faces too as programmes such as Priodas Pum Mil 'Dolig and Dai ar y Piste are released on S4C Clic.
