Elain Edwards Dezzani is the latest member to join the Heno presenting team.
Elain, who is originally from Llanuwchllyn and now lives with her family in Cowbridge, will be a familiar face to some viewers, having worked as a presenter on Planed Plant around fifteen years ago.
Elain then moved to Los Angeles, where she worked as a presenter, film trailer editor and make-up artist, while also raising her three daughters.
Elain and her family returned to Wales last year, and she is looking forward to starting her new job as a presenter of S4C's Heno, while presenters Mari Grug and Llinos Lee are on maternity leave.
Elain said: "I'm really looking forward to going back to work as a television presenter.
"I've worked on the other side of the camera for short periods more recently, but mainly I've been at home raising the kids, so it will be myself once again.
"There is a certain excitement to presenting and Heno is a cornerstone of the S4C schedule, so this is a fantastic opportunity for me."
While in LA, Elain worked as a presenter for the Current TV channel, which was set up by Al Gore.
After the channel came to an end, she worked as a make-up technician to plenty of stars taking to the red carpet, including her cousin, actor Matthew Rhys.
Elain said: "When I moved to LA, Matthew was already living there and it was so nice to have him there.
"He was like a big brother, because there was no-one else I knew so well who I could speak Welsh with.
"We spent a lot of time together. As he became more well-known, he would be called to attend more PR and red carpet events, and I got to work with him a lot – he trusted me!
"I got to meet Tom Hanks through Matthew too, and I got a hug from Tom Hanks – one of the highlights of my career!
"LA was such an exciting place for me to live during my twenties and thirties, to have new experiences before having children.
"But when you have children, you want to raise them in a society which has strong roots and so we decided that we would move back to Wales.
"And straight after we moved back to Cowbridge, you felt as though the community was there looking after is, and that was something that you couldn't get in LA."
