We accept that the wording in question on the Cyw website is totally unacceptable, and we apologise for any pain or harm caused.

We can confirm that the wording has been changed on the website and we will respond to the letter with an apology and a full explanation.

S4C appointed a Diversity and Inclusion Officer some months ago, to work on a long-term plan to update any guidelines, forms and policies and ensure that we are as inclusive as possible – this includes S4C's internal human resources policies and any policies and guidelines associated with our programmes.
