Paying tribute to the versatile actress Christine Pritchard, Chief Executive Sian Doyle said on behalf of S4C:
"It is with great sadness that we heard of the death of actress Christine Pritchard. Her talent was enormous and she was involved in some of S4C's most iconic productions playing characters in series such as Glas y Dorlan, Dinas, Pobol y Cwm, Pris y Farchnad, Talcen Caled and more recently, Un Bore Mercher and 35 Awr. Generations of Welsh children will fondly remember her as the popular character Rala Rwdins. Her talent on screen and on stage was priceless and she will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with Christine's family and friends, and we thank her for her outstanding contribution to various S4C productions over many years."
