Tisho Fforc?, one of S4C's online service, Hansh, has won an award at the New Voice Awards 2023 held in London last night (Friday 7 April).
Tisho Fforc? (Afanti Media) won the category for Best Social Series. The New Voice Awards are produced by The TV Foundation, the charitable arm of the Edinburgh TV Festival, recognise and celebrate undiscovered creatives and the companies who do the most to support them.
Tisho Fforc? is a dating series presented by Mared Parry, which "puts Wales' hottest singletons on a plate - literally". Under two chloches, two dishy singletons looking for love are tasked with playing silly games and answering a few awkward questions.
Guto Rhun, S4C's Young Audience Commissioner, said:
"We are extremely proud that Tisho Fforc? has been successful in such a competitive category.
"The New Voice Awards celebrate the best of new talent and British television content - so the fact that S4C won an award shows that our content is of a high standard that can compete with the best in the world of broadcasting. Our S4C Hansh content is aimed at the 16 - 24 year old audience and creates a stir by pushing boundaries and challenging, giving a voice to the young people of Wales.
"Many congratulations to Afanti Media and the talented team who have worked so hard on this series."
