The film Y Sŵn (Swnllyd) received seven nominations, including best Director for Lee Haven Jones, best Writer for Roger Williams and for Eiry Thomas in the best Actress category.

The series Stori'r Iaith (Rondo Media) received five nominations, including best Factual Series and one for Gruffudd Sion Rees as best Factual Director.

All three nominations in the Children's Programme category went to S4C and Boom Cymru for Gwrach y Rhibyn, Mabinogiogi and Y Goleudy.

Factual Series Greenham (Tinopolis) received four nominations whilst Chris a'r Afal Mawr (Cwmni Da) received three nominations.

All four nominations in the Presenters category went to S4C presenters, Chris Roberts for Chris ar Afal Mawr (Cwmni Da), Emma Walford and Trystan Ellis-Morris for Prosiect Pum Mil (Boom Cymru) and Lisa Jên and Sean Fletcher both received nominations for their episodes of Stori'r Iaith (Rondo Media).

The BAFTA Cymru awards ceremony takes place on the 15th of October at the ICC Wales centre in Newport.
