The former Wales international says that Wales' first pool match against Fiji will be a 'massive' one for Warren Gatland's team.
Scott will be in France filming with the Welsh fans for Allez Quinnell on S4C Chwaraeon's YouTube channel and Facebook page as he discusses Wales' progress during the tournament with the supporters.
He says that the Welsh fans are "the most passionate and the loudest" and he'll be looking ahead to the games with them, touring the cities where Wales will play and seeing if the fans can succeed at the challenges that he'll set them.
Scott Quinnell said:
"It's going to be brilliant with a lot of fans going over there, the Welsh fans are the most passionate and the loudest.
It'll be absolutely lovely - a bit of sun, good red wine and good food in between the rugby - it'll be perfect."
And for those out in France, keep an eye out for clues on the S4C Chwaraeon platforms to find Scott in different cities. The person who reaches him first will win a Grogg of the man himself.
Every Wales match from the Rugby World Cup in France will be live on S4C, S4C Clic and BBC iPlayer, with Sarra Elgan, Jason Mohammad, Lauren Jenkins and Mike Phillips presenting the coverage of the tournament.
Commentator Gareth Charles will bring all the excitement from the games to the viewers at home.
Joining Gareth to give their expert opinions will be Welsh rugby greats including Jonathan Davies, Gwyn Jones, Siwan Lillicrap, Rhys Priestland, Dyddgu Hywel, Robin McBryde, Rhys Patchell and more.
S4C's coverage will begin with the opening game between hosts France and New Zealand and will follow Warren Gatland's team through the World Cup, with a quarter-final, a semi-final, the third-place play-off, and the final from the Stade de France in Paris.
Sarra Elgan will be joining Jonathan Davies and Nigel Owens to discuss the Wales team on the programme Jonathan.
For the first time, Lauren Jenkins will be one of S4C's presenters for the competition:
"It's going to be very special for me personally - the first World Cup I've worked on and it's in an amazing country!
A perfect country to host a World Cup - it's very open and extremely competitive."
Lauren will also be presenting the vodcast Allez Les Rouges where rugby stars will join her to discuss Wales' performance, with weekly episodes in the lead up, and during the tournament.
The vodcast can be seen on S4C Chwaraeon's YouTube channel and BBC Sounds.
S4C's offering during the Rugby World Cup goes further than the competition itself, with brand new programmes and series starting in September.
On 12 September, the Croeso i Dubai (Welcome to Dubai) series will follow Wales and Lions rugby legend, Mike Phillips, as he offers a glimpse to life in Dubai.
On the following day, 13 September, a new series follows the ups and downs of the Caernarfon women's rugby club, Rycia O 'Ma (Keep on rucking).
On 28 September, Ifan Phillips: Y Cam Nesaf (Ifan Phillips: The Next Step). A documentary following the extraordinary story of former Wales U20 player, Ifan Phillips, after he lost his leg in a serious accident.
And also over on S4C Chwaraeon's platforms during the competition, ex-rugby player Nathan Brew will travel to rugby clubs across Wales to gather the views of the fans, in Brew yn y Bar.
