Paying tribute to producer Gwenda Griffith, Geraint Evans, S4C's Acting Chief Content Officer, said:

"It was with great sadness that we learnt of the death of Gwenda Griffith. She was one of Wales' main independent television producers for over 30 years.

"She established Fflic a production company who's programmes had an unique style. She produced the popular series 04 Wal and Y Tŷ Cymreig, which reflected her passion for architecture, and Cariad@iaith, a series that encouraged Welsh learners.

Her talent was priceless and she will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with Gwenda's family and friends, and we would like to pay tribute to the exceptional contribution she made to S4C's work over many years.
