S4C has a duty to comply with specific standards in relation to the Welsh language.
S4C is confident that it complies with the standards placed upon it and has continued to implement them during the year.
The Welsh language is fundamental to S4C's existence and S4C is proud of the vital role it plays in sustaining and promoting the language. The Welsh language belongs to everyone, and supporting Welsh speakers – wherever they may be on their language journey – is a key part of S4C's work.
