As part of the popular drama series Rownd a Rownd's 30 year anniversary celebrations in 2025, Rondo Media production company has announced a development opportunity to foster the next generation of Welsh television writers.

Rownd a Rownd is a popular drama series set in north Wales, which follows the residents of the fictional village of Glanrafon.

Over a period of four months, in person and online, the successful applicants will take part in a dynamic part-time programme which has been designed by Rondo Media to inspire, educate and give the voices of the future the skills needed to refine their craft. The course includes:

- Masterclasses led by industry experts, offering invaluable insight into storytelling and writing techniques for the screen.

- One-to-one mentoring with experienced tutors who will provide guidance and feedback along the way.

- Learn how to pitch and present ideas to channels and production companies.

- An introduction to the business side of the film and television industry in Wales.

The programme is open to any individual who is full of enthusiasm, creativity, and who believe they have fresh ideas for the screen.
