The Dragons will be seeking only their third win of the season as they welcome Munster to Rodney Parade on Sunday. The match will be televised live on Clwb Rygbi on S4C at 2.15pm, kick off 2.30pm, with English commentary available through the red button.
Also this weekend, the Scarlets and Ospreys will jet over to Italy to take on Treviso and Zebre respectively, while the Blues entertain league leaders Connacht at the BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park.
Here is the view of ex-Wales captain and Clwb Rygbi commentator Gwyn Jones, and his predictions for the Welsh regions this weekend:
Gwyn said: "It's an important game for the Dragons. They were doing well in their home matches last season and they will have to try and replicate that this season."They are a team which needs to aim for seven or eight wins a season, but they only have two wins at the moment. They are developing but at some point they will have to prove their development."It's difficult because they are missing their creative players, like Hallam Amos and Tyler Morgan, and it's hard to see where the tries are going to come from."Munster are third and they'll believe that they can win, but they aren't half the team they used to be."I hope to see a close game. Munster are favourites, but I can see the game being won by just the one score.
"Away at Treviso is the sort of game which the Scarlets could lose. They looked shaky against Zebre last week, and they missed out on a bonus point, so they will want one this time around."If the weather is nice, the Scarlets can play the ball quickly and they should create some tries. I believe they will win the game, but they will have to be wary of Treviso."
"The Blues have a true test this weekend. They have lost two very good number sevens with Sam Warburton and Ellis Jenkins out."It's interesting to see Jarrod Evans start at fly-half. Perhaps Rhys Patchell will see this as a sign that he will be moving on, with reports that he will be joining the Scarlets."It's a long process for Danny Wilson, but they've only won one match up to now. If they can win this weekend, it might set them on the right track."Connacht are playing well at the moment. They beat Munster last week and as league leaders, they are full of confidence."I think it will be very close, but Connacht will win."
"The Ospreys will win comfortably in Zebre. They have found it difficult gaining bonus points this season, so they will be targeting one this weekend."At the moment, their problem is their creativity, with their centres out injured."After a poor start, they are re-building and they are improving. The momentum has turned for them."But, Alun Wyn Jones and Justin Tipuric cannot star in every game, so it's time for the rest of the squad to share some of the responsibility."
