A tasty Christmas masterpiece!

Gingerbread House

For the Gingerbread House

1 ready made gingerbread package bought from the shop

1 Tube of baking glue.

FOR THE ICING:

300g Icing Sugar

2 tablespoons of milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

A little Water, if the mixture needs loosening.

DECORATIONS:

Sweets and chocolates of your choice.

METHOD

Step 1

Carefully build your gingerbread house using the glue to put the walls and roof together.

Tip - Use a bowl or cup within the walls of the house to press the pieces so they stand up to dry.

Step 2

Sift the icing sugar into a bowl and add the milk and vanilla and mix to create an icing.

If the mixture is thick use a small amount of water to loosen the mixture.

Fill an icing bag with the mixture and then use to cover the house or use to apply sweets on the roof.

Tip - To refill the icing bag use a cup to rest the bag while refilling. Step 3

Be creative when covering the house with the decorations. Enjoy and Merry Christmas!
