From 1 March 2025 onwards, Wales' most popular quiz app will be back with its daily challenge for the nation.

With a wide range of topics covering Welsh culture, trivia, and traditional quiz questions, Cwis 2025 is sure to keep you on your toes. The challenge? Answer ten random questions correctly in the fastest time!

At the end of each game, players' scores will be automatically entered into a live leaderboard, where scores are determined by speed and the number of correct answers. Players will also be able to create groups with their own private scoreboards and invite other users to join in the fun. This gives our more competitive quizzers a chance to challenge people from the office, their local sports club, or friends and family from across Wales – all whilst keeping an eye on which group member is leading the overall weekly and season rankings.

Cwis will be running during selected months this year, as well as over the summer holidays and Christmas period.For those looking to continue quizzing when the daily game is off-air, there is an option for players to compete in 'live group games'. This feature will be available all year round, offering a brand-new format where group members will be tasked with answering the same 10 questions at the same time! All you need to do is choose when you'd like the game to start, and hit 'play'.

The best part of all? There are amazing prizes to be won every season! Players will be entered into the season prize draw each time they play the daily Cwis*. Past prizes range from international rugby tickets, a selection of Welsh-branded products, and high-tech gadgets such as tablets, televisions and AirPods. Previous winners have also walked away with a luxury skiing holiday for four in the French Alps and car!

Everyone that finishes the week in the top 200 will also be in with a chance of winning a Cwis Bob Dydd goodie bag.
